AAAC Conductor


AAAC Conductor is mainly used as bare overhead transmission cable and as primary and secondary distribution cable. It is also suitable for laying across basins, rivers and valleys where special geographical teatures exist.
In Mehsana, Kadi, Kalol, Deesa, Palanpur and Radhanpur North Gujarat, India, AAAC Conductor (All Aluminium Alloy Conductor) is made from aluminum-magnesium-silicon alloy of high electrical conductivity containing Magnesium and Silicon to give better mechanical properties after treatment.
AAA conductors are generall made out of aluminum alloy, AAAC Conductor has a better corrosion resistance and better strength to weight ratio and improved electrical conductivity than ACSR Conductor on equal diameter basis.

    Used where reliability and low maintenance are key, and where ice or wind loading is moderate.
